Ashley is a transplant here to the great state of Texas from northern Ohio where she was born and spent the majority of her life. She graduated from Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic High School in 2014 and was accepted into the University of Findlay (OH). Ashley studied Criminal Justice Administration and Sociology but her passion and love for sports (especially baseball) took her to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex where she spent 4 years. In that time, she began her career in veterinary medicine. Ashley spent two years working in general daytime practice before taking the leap to emergency and critical care medicine where she spent another two years. (Her experience there also included extensive work with exotics and wildlife, two of the things she greatly enjoys). Ashley moved to southeast Houston (League City) after purchasing a home with her boyfriend Ryan. Ashley interviewed with the SLVS team in December of 2017 and shortly after, excitedly accepted an overnight (she's definitely not a morning person!) technician position in the Intensive Care Unit. There they share their home with 5 cats (Maverick, Max, Orbit, Astro and their 'hurricane baby' Cane), Italian Greyhound Zeus (more affectionately known as 'Pants'), Yorkshire Terrier Nellie and, of course, a snake and a hedgehog. When Ashley isn't working, she enjoys spending time at home with both her boyfriend and her pets, attending sporting events, traveling and explaining to everyone how Greyhounds are perfect in every way, especially the little Iggies.
