Dr. Loretta Bubenik-Angapen  On the Job:
Dr. Bubenik joined Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists in 2008. Prior to joining our team, she was a tenured professor in small animal surgery at Louisiana State University from 2002-2008. She has published articles and book chapters on many topics in veterinary surgery including neurologic, orthopedic, minimally invasive and general surgery, as well as topics in pain management and surgical nursing. Throughout her professional career, she has mentored 8 residents, 3 fellows and many interns and students. She has been board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2002.

Outside of work:
Dr. Bubenik enjoys gardening, participating in community service work both locally and internationally, and spending time with her beautiful daughter and wonderful husband!
